Hi, my name is Rebecca. Welcome to my little spot on the world wide web. The long and short of it, is that I am a graphic designer who caught the travel bug. Once my career as a designer was somewhat established I moved to London (as most of us Aussies do) This started the travel bug. I decided to carry on traveling and take my career to the freelance-zone.

This blog is simply my creative outlet. You won’t find awesome tips about how to be a great traveler or where “the must go” spots are, because, truth be told, I’m just figuring it all out myself. You will find my stories here, my thoughts and some cool pictures and gosh knows what else. Hopefully, my stories entertain you. Or my photo manipulations are enjoyable.

This is my story and below are my chapters

Chapter-one

Leaving my home country to live alone in a country very very far away – I wouldn’t say its scary, but that was until I left and got off the plane in “sunny England” The first few months were tough, it hit me fast what traveling was, and solo no doubt, in countries where the language was not English. I learnt a lot in the first few months of being away from home and although, sadly at the time I didn’t realise it, these were the best years of my travel years.

Chapter-Four

My money had dwindeled and my travel had to slow down. I had to get a proper job and start really living in London (not as punishing as it seems) I got a job and enjoyed doing design work in the big city, I would party like I’m in my 20’s, do day trips around the UK, fall in love and out, explore London like never before and really learn to live independently like I wanted.

Chapter-two

A good friend and great travel buddy came over to visit me in Europe, we went throughout Germany and bits of Eastern Europe, having a blast traveling and living by a moto of no sleep, more food and more beer – this eventually took its tole, but wow what a great trip!

Chapter-Five

So maybe going back to Sydney is not the worst place I could go to… I setteled in nicely and this is where I am now. I’ll bring you posts of my home town and fill the blog with catching up before dragging you around on some more trips

Chapter-three

After returning to London, ever so briefly, I had another friend join me for a spot of Travel around Europes Mediterranean. Although unlike my other trips, I wasn’t solo and wasn’t traveling with a mutural travel loving friend. I was, instead traveling with a very good friend who I wanted to throw into the rivers of Rome and off the Cliffs of the arcopolis

Chapter-Six

So maybe going back to Sydney is not the worst place I could go to… I setteled in nicely and this is where I am now. I’ll bring you posts of my home town and fill the blog with catching up before dragging you around on some more trips
